EdgeSounds Releases The “Essential Vibraphone”.
Brooklyn, NY, January 29, 2007

EdgeSounds announces the immediate availability of the Essential Vibraphone sample sound library in NI Kontakt 2 format, 24-Bit 96 KHz quality.

The EdgeSounds Essential Vibraphone sample library is aimed to music creating professionals demanding the highest degree of authenticity in a sound of any instrument. The DVD-ROM contains 4.5 GB of highest quality stereo vibraphone samples comprising 12 exceptional 6-layer program banks which capture the sound of the Yamaha YV-3300 model vibraphone. Each note was sampled individually in our state-of-the-art studio after the midnight, using Neumann TLM 103 and UM-57 microphones. The disk contains muted and open vibraphone sound, straight or slow-vibrato, tremolos and up/down glissandos.

Content includes:

4 528 MB of 24 Bit 96 KHz quality sample material;
1330 stereo and mono samples;
12 Program banks;
6 sample layers for maximum authentic natural sound;
